2009 (Really!) Blue Dog Farm opening dates and times
Opening for u-pick organic raspberries, 2009: Thursday, July 9th, 9-Noon.
Opening for u-pick organic blueberries, 2009: Tuesday, July 14th, 9-Noon.
I guess I covered this on the home page, but here it is again. (That way when I need to update in a hurry it will be in two places, and I'll probably forget one of them.....!)
U-pick raspberries: All done for '09. So fleeting....
U-pick blueberries: Tuesday and Thursday and Saturday mornings 7-12. Maybe we'll throw in some other mornings next week to finish things out. Watch here or call our phone message.
We know the hours seem limited, but experience has taught us that what's ripe on any particular day is not sufficient for pickers who arrive later. We are not picking for any markets this year, and we're limiting our picked orders so we can have as much fruit as possible for u-pickers. We'll be happy to open more days if we have the fruit. Keep checking back.

We will be picking a limited amount of berries as we attempt to simplify our lives a little. We are also doing some minimum order sizes this year:
Organic blueberries: Minimum order: 40#, $4.25/lb. Over 40#, we'll pick whatever whole number of pounds you want.
Organic raspberries: Minimum order: 2 whole flats (12 half pints), $32 each.
Send an e-mail if you are interested in picked berries. I will update here as soon as I can once we stop taking orders.
NOTE: for picked raspberries, you must let me know if there are days you cannot come out. For good quality, you must come out immediately to pick up raspberries. The easier your schedule is to come out, the easier it is for us to fill your order.
NOTE also: if you want both picked blueberries and picked raspberries, we honestly may or may not be able to have them both on the same day. (Two different picking crews, availability doesn't necessarily overlap, etc.)
